PIPELINES: Creating Comparable Clinical Knowledge Efficiently by Linking Trial Platforms

In December 2016, Clinical Pharmacology & Therapeutics (Volume 100: Adaptive Biomedical Innovation) published a paper by MR Trucheim, et al, with a hypothesis that ‘Adaptive, seamless, multisponsor, multitherapy clinical trial designs executed as large scale platforms, could create superior evidence more efficiently than single-sponsor, single-drug trials.’

The paper describes the opportunity for a learning system to support continuous evidence development through a therapeutic life cycle.
